The Trails

The 12 km of backcountry trails are tracked and monitored by our volunteers. There are signs to show you where you are. Trails are marked with flagging.

The Hill Trail is the main trail to alpine and a viewpoint with a 360 degree view.

On the Hill Trail, there is a major skin-up trail for skiers and snowshoers marked with blue and red flagging. On steep downhill sections, there is a ski-down lane for skis only and marked with pink flagging.

On the flat sections of the Hill Trail, skiers and snowshoers share the same trail.

You will need backcountry skis and skins to ascend the Hill Trail.

Phone coverage

Cell coverage is available on the upper portions of the Hill Trail but it is still a good idea to let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return.
