Road Conditions: Narrow gravel road. Not suitable for low or large RV vehicles.   Trail Length: The trail is 1 km to the lake and 4.5 km in a loop around the lake.
Directions: Turn east off Highway 16 on 8th Ave. in Burns Lake. Turn right on 9th Ave. Turn left on Gowan Road and drive .6 km until you can turn left onto the Boer Mountain Lookout Road. Drive about 3 km to the parking area at the top of Boer Mountain near the radio towers. Walk back down the road a short distance to the start of the Star Lake trail.
