| Description: If you like to hunt for agates
or opals, this trail is for you. Close to town. You
could actually walk from town but it would be a long
walk.. Great place to take the kids. The minerals have
been picked over but each year, more will appear. |

| Road Conditions: Rough gravel road

Trail Length: Various trails |
| Directions: Turn south from Highway
16 on Highway 35 at the centre of Burns Lake. Drive about 2 km and
turn right on the Eagle Creek Fair Grounds Road. Go .5 km and turn
right on a gravel road. Go 3.8 km and turn left on the Eagle Creek
Forest Service Road. Go 5.3 km and turn right at a small brown sigh.
There has been logging in the area so some roads may have been altered.
We'll update directions during the early summer. |

Features: There are not a lot of
views on the trail but the geology and minerals are most interesting
and unusual. There were a few simple campsites in the area. |
