Road Conditions: All-weather gravel   Trail Length: Up to 6.5 km from the start to Maxan Lake
Directions: Turn south on Highway 35 at the centre of Burns Lake. Drive 20 minutes to Francois Lake and bear right along the north shore of the lake. Drive 14.4 km from the Francois Ferry Terminal. Turn right at the Nourse Creek Trail sign.   Features: Signs along the trail will make navigation easy. Watch for wildlife. Make this trail a part of a circle tour or Francois Lake.
