Features: Four Lakes have always been difficult
to access from the Onion Mt trail or from
the Little
Joe Lakes trail. This trail takes you to the top of the lakes
basin on the south side. It's an easy scramble down to all four lakes.
Watch for ptarmigan, chipmunks and mountain goat. Hike across the
basin and to the NW to reach the cliff above Little Joe lakes. Please
remember that once you get to the upper alpine, you are in a Provincial
Park and all Park regulations apply. |
Looking across the lower lake to the NW, Little
Joe lakes are behind brown hill
