Description: Park consists of two parcels of land on the south and north shores of Francois Lake. Abundant wildlife and a mix of forest covers and grassland or scrub-steppe. See also Francois Lake Provincial Park.

Park size: 9,866 hectares
Type: Wilderness area
Road Conditions: All-weather gravel road   Features: First Nations people used the park area for hunting, fishing and gathering and many culturally modified trees have been located in the park. Trails throughout the park may have been part of a grease trail linking coastal and interior First Nations people. Uncha Mountain Park protects a 47 km-long corridor along the south shore of Francois Lake, and connects riparian and upland ecosystems. Sockeye salmon rearing and migrating habitat is found near the lakeshore.
Directions: Turn south off Highway 16 onto Highway 35 on Burns Lake. Turn left at the "T" at Francois Lake and follow the Francois Lake East Road to the northern half of the park. Uncha Mountain is reached by turning right (west) at the "T", taking the Francois Lake ferry south across the lake, then following Uncha Lake Road east to Uncha Mountain Forest Service Road.
