Description: Very convenient camping with minutes of Highway 16. Excellent lakeshore and extensive facilities. See article about the trail that goes through the park and around the Village of Telkwa. Walking distance to the Telkwa Museum

Park size: 33 hectares
Type: Camping, with reservations
Road Conditions: Paved roads   Features: 200 m of sandy beachfront. Hiking, walking, swimming, picnicking, and nature viewing in the summer. Ice fishing and cross-country skiing are popular in the winter. Campground hosts are available during the summer months to provide information on the park and surrounding area. Wetlands are excellent for bird watching. Available from May 15 - Sept 30. Site has picnic shelter with woodstove, running water. Playfield, beach, showers nearby. Maximum 100 persons for camping/picnicking.
Directions: Turn east off Highway 16 onto the Tyhee Lake Road in Telkwa. Turn right at the top of the hill onto the park road.  
Tyhee has a shelter with lights and tables

Tyhee Lake is excellent for water sports and bird-watching
