Description: Rainbow Alley Park protects an area between Nilkitkwa Lake and Babine Lake, famous for its world-class rainbow trout.
Located near: Smithers

Park size: 110 hectares
Type: Wilderness area
Road Conditions: Access by boat from Babine Lake. No direct road access.   Features: No camping at this park. The park protects an area used by the blue-listed American bittern for breeding. Large populations of rainbow trout, steelhead and sockeye are found in Rainbow Alley, along with a host of other fish species including pink and coho salmon.
Directions: Drive about 4 km south of Smithers, turn east off Highway 16 on the Babine Lake Road. Follow Nilkitwa Lake Road from Babine Lake Road. Access by boat is available through the north end of Babine Lake or the south end of Nilkitwa Lake.
