Located near: Smithers

Location: on Map NE
Park size: 297 hectares
Type: Wilderness area
Road Conditions: All-weather gravel, active logging roads. Use on weekends and holidays or use caution and be prepared to pull off the road to give logging trucks the right-of-way.   Features: No camping at this park. This is prime bear habitat and you should always make noise to alert any bears to your presence. The area is also excellent habitat for moose and deer.

Directions: Drive about 4 km south of Smithers, turn east off Highway 16 on the Babine Lake Road. Turn onto the Upper Fulton Forest Service Road. Between km 50 and km 60, the Upper Fulton Forest Service Road ends at Camp Lake. There is a parking area and an ATV trail leading to the lake. The ATV trail continues northwest into an old cutblock with substantial regrowth. Approximately 100-200 m into the clearcut there is an opening where a compass bearing to true north can be taken to find the ATV trail that leads to the park. The trail through the cutblock is approximately 1 km and not well defined. Once in the trees the ATV trail leads west to a creek crossing. On the other side of the creek, a trail can be found leading west, across the meadow.
