Description: Boating and fishing on Francois Lake, with rustic camping and picnic facilities with a dramatic view. See also Uncha Mountain Provincial Park.

Park size: 7214 hectares
Type: Camping, no reservations
Road Conditions: All-weather gravel road   Features: Francois Lake Park is located at the east end of Francois Lake, protecting 25 km of shoreline. Includes high quality moose winter habitat. The area was traditionally used by the First Nations people for hunting, fishing and gathering and many culturally modified trees have been located in the park. A major First Nations village site was located at Anjur Bay. The park connects the riparian lakeshore area with upland forests on surrounding hills.
Directions: Turn south off Highway 16 onto Highway 35 in Burns Lake. Turn right (west) at the "T" at Francois Lake and cross the lake at the ferry terminal. Turn left (east) past the southside ferry terminal and drive along the south shore of Francois Lake.
