Snowmobiling

We have excellent winter snow conditions for snowmobiling. We have lots of deep powder, light winds and moderate winter temperatures.

Combine that with designated trails in the Lakes District and in the alpine areas near Houston, Telkwa, Smithers and Hazelton and we have a world-class snowmobile region.

Each of our communities have Snowmobile clubs and equipment dealers to help you find your favourite trail.

Burns Lake Snowmobile Club:
Check with local snowmobile dealers for information

Houston Snowmobile Club:
Maintains groomed trails in a designated area on the Telkwa Range. Check with local Sports shops for more information

Smithers Snowmobile Club:
Maintains groomed trails in two designated alpine areas. Check with Trails North for more information.
