Cindy's Psychic Connection
by Debi Osborne
Interviewing a psychic about her personal life can be unnerving but not with Smither's local Cindy LaRose. Seated across the kitchen table from each other, we joked about people's perception of what a psychic should look like.
Many are surprised that she looks so "normal", has a husband, three teenagers and actually has physical ailments like most people do. "I have skin and I do bleed", she laughs.
But after a one hour "reading", that can be hard to believe. She's a practising psychic and she's good at it!

As most psychics will tell you, their gift of knowing the past, present and future of complete strangers begins in their youth. Cindy chose to ignore her inner voice and disturbing dreams until 15 years ago. While overcoming an extreme bout with illness, she began to hear, see and smell images, sounds and scents. A being she calls her "spirit guide" gives her these senses in response to what the spirit wants to pass on to the client. The spirit doesn't give whole sentences, so she often has to put lots of pieces together.
Most of her customers are women but Cindy says she would like to read for more men. "They are so skeptical", she says with a laugh.

In a session, after you both get comfortable, Cindy will begin talking about things in your life. She may mention a relative with a specific medical problem, a missing ring, a child that should be in soccer but isn't. And why are you worried about your daughter's knees? A specialist can give you exercises to relieve her discomfort, but it will soon pass. It is merely a growing pain.
After the session, you are invited to ask questions. And no, I already asked. She doesn't "see" winning lottery numbers.
