| Have you visited the Lakes District Museum? It's easy to find. It's right on Highway 16 in Burns Lake. The museum is unique because many of the displays date from the 1930's and 40's, a period of our history that is missed in many other museums. |

Even the buildings fit the theme.The museum buildings were built in 1939 and served as the residence amd workshops of the B.C. Forest Service.  |
