We Can Make Anything Go Faster

Sam taught Harley Davidson mechanic classes at Fairview College in Alberta, the only college offering such a course.

He has also competed in drag races across Western Canada and has the trophy shelf to prove it.

Ice racing? Yes, Sam has done that too. He took his students from a class at Fairview College to a motorcycle ice race in Alberta. Each student had the chance to compete riding a trail bike with studded tires on a frozen track. When they weren't riding, the students worked as the pit crew. Class was on a cold frozen lake that day.

He sponsored and worked on a Harley Davidson XL 883 for Chrissy Sweeder, a young lady who went out and beat the boys to win the 883 class in a drag race series in Western Canada. Nice to see results from your hard work.

The purple 1985 FXR Harley to the left was rebuilt to new condition by Sam. The engine heads were ported and polished. Every bolt and nut was cleaned and polished to showroom shine. The 3-layer paint job was done by Jeff Balmes from Kamloops. See the results on the next page.
