| Registered forester, Heloise Dixon-Warren spends three days a week buckled into the green Forestry Tour van with sometimes as many as 13 tourists seated behind her. With her head-set microphone in place, Heloise will travel the back roads around the Morice Forest District and work hard to "...inform the misinformed."
They've heard about clearcuts and the destruction of natural habitat, about pine beetle infestations and possibly Native land claim issues and some of them have a lot of questions. The tourists come from as far away as Germany, New Zealand, Israel, California, and Alberta, but there are always locals aboard and everyone listens intently as Heloise tells the forestry story, on the dusty gravel road.
