Hi Every one...
I was out at a friends place today has been a long time as we are not from the same town.
I have seen something that has made me so sick and very upset. There was a horse out on the lawn at this place and it had some very bad injuries to it's hind legs. The horse looked to be in alot of pain. From what my friend had said about the owners I think this horse is not being treated properly.
I am not a horse person but am looking at getting a horse someday.
Just seen this and needed to ask what would a person do if you feel it is not being cared for.

DID ANYONE SAVE A COPY, THAT WOULD BE ALL I NEED TO REPORT THIS ONE TO THE RCMP,I talked to the person who has this posession of this horse at the moment,she is not the one who advertised her, the certain someone is advertising someone elses horse please if anyone has a copy of the kiji ad or knows how to get one contact me thanks |

Pretty sure it was, darn should have saved a copy. I think it was a 7 year old Appy mare, green broke, has scars on her legs from previous injury this year. Has been vetted and is %100 sound. For free with the purchase of a show halter. It was from Houston, there was another free horse ad and a tractor ad from this person. |

I admit she has always been good with her horses, I to have known her for well over 20+ yrs. that is where I put the thought that I could trust thing , just shows how well you think you know your friends. I was desperate at the time, in hindsight shoulda called Roxy, |

saw your post under "kijiji ad". Absolutely disgusting. Why would L.K. (or anyone) let a horse go to K.A.????? L.K. used to be honest and loved horses, but it was 20 years ago when I knew her. Would like to hear why she sold the animal, and especially why to that individual.
If people get angry when you tell the truth, its usually because they are ashamed of what they said or did. |

This horse was seen by and treated by the vet prior,(my daughters horse no less) she had cut herself quite badly,but was under vet care.I ended up in the hospital for a month so was unable to care for such an injury,(my daughter tried)so I let her go, thinking it would be good,in hindsight I was wrong, the injuries were not as bad as they were at first, and would have healed nicely , Mike (the vet) couldn't see any future problems,just goes to show you can't even trust your "friends" |

I know this mare she was my daughters Isent to a lady who I thought could deal with the leg as it turns out she traded her to "I am just sick friend would do that to such a sweet mare,I have also called the cops and gave them a copy of this thread,I can't believe how this is turning into a nighmare.poor horse |

I have called the RCMP they will let me know after they have gone there.
I will post when I find out more. This Appaloosa is very nice hope something can be done. |

Hi All
Just come back from my friends place after being out there for the long weekend.
I had seen this horse lots out on this lawn. Still no one helping her from the looks of things. I did get close to see that it is a appaloosa mare. Very loving horse came right up to me. Poor girl.
Sunnyone you ask where this horse is. She is down a side road about 15 mins from Topley BC.
She is out in this front yard. It is a real nice place. All white fences. There is a pen in the front with what looks like small horses.
Just thought I would give a up date. Going to call RCMP.

The SPCA probably won't do a dang thing.
With no one person designated to deal with animal abuse, it is up to each and everyone of us to try and help those who cannot help themselves. Don't jump to conlusions. Find the facts. Be diplomatic but don't be timid. If you stepped on toes, you can apologize. If someone is abusive to you, you bring in the RCMP.
